Would you like to experience the transformative and healing power of sound?
I offer both solo and group sound baths across the Doncaster area. In addition, other solo sound experiences, eg. Himalayan Bowl (on body) massage, Drum massage and/or Drum journeys are also offered.
There is increasing evidence demonstrating the benefits of therapeutic sound and music. It may help with the following:
- Reducing feelings of anxiety
- Reducing feelings of stress
- Releasing emotional tension (and pain)
- Reducing physical (muscle) tension (and pain)
- Cleansing of energetic fields
- Improving quality of sleep
- Improving your mood
- Improved mental clarity and creativity
In addition, if you find it challenging to meditate, focusing on the sounds and vibrations you experience can help support you!
Essentially, sound baths are wonderful for helping to improve your overall wellbeing!
A group sound bath lasts approximately up to 1 hour and 15 minutes (including time after the sound bath for you to “take some time” before leaving).
You will need to register in advance and arrive in good time for the session to begin; sign in and then find a space to lie down comfortably on a mat (you may want to bring a blanket and pillow/cushion with you). If laying down is uncomfortable for you, it is possible to sit.
A selection of instruments are played (typically Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gongs, Chimes and other Therapeutic Percussion), beginning slowly and gently, building to a louder (and potentially more intense) sound, before steadily returning to a quieter, more gentle sound as the sound bath begins to end.
You are then given time to “come round” and re-ground yourself (including a cup of herbal tea) before leaving.
Solo sound baths are also available: BOOK NOW
(Booking is via the Fresha website/app or text 07706 952510)
Group sound baths are advertised on Instagram, Facebook & the mailing list.
